After the baby's arrival, lots of things changed in the house. And while initially, our dog Kenai took the change pretty well. It was apparent with this latest pregnancy that he is quite upset about another upheaval in the house (bad behavior and whatnot). It was a tough decision to give him away, but it is necessary and fair for all of us. It wasn't fair for him to not have our full attention, and we felt bad about just fulfilling his basic of needs. But he's in a good home, with my Sister in Law, so it's not as if he's out of the family. We'll still be able to see him every so often and he'll have another dog to play with. Kenai doesn't care for our toddler's style of playing, which sometimes involves fur-pulling. We will miss him, but know that he will be well taken care of in his new home.
