AGAIN....

This one just showed up at the library for me as well. Uh oh...

Shanghai Girls by Lisa See

As for my other books, here's what I'm going to do. I'm reading the Jennifer Weiner book now, and then the Jane Green. Then I'll move on to Sophie Kinsella and Lisa See. And until then, I'm hoping that The Girl Who Played with Fire doesn't show up at the library.

So I am total freak. I read the Girl Who Played with Fire in TWO DAYS! I got it yesterday and I started reading it during my lunch hour. Because this is the second book in the series, it doesn't start as slow as the first one. I came home and did some things but basically read until about 2am last night. I read more during my lunch hour and finished the book a bit ago. it is SOOOO good! But now I have to wait til October 2009 for The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets' Nest. I can't believe I read this book in two days. That is how good it was!

I think my next book is going to be LA Candy by LC from the Hills. I want something that is light and not vampire related.

Wow Marisol, you must read superfast! I'm now totally excited about that book. Kind of a bummer though, that the author died after he finished the third one, and was planning on doing 10 books for the series.

Don't get me started on the Twilight series. Costco's going to get the set in paperback, which I will buy. Then I can bet up-to-date on the Bella/Edward saga.

I'm in about the same boat with three books to read in three weeks. The first week was written off because I had to study for an exam instead. One fun one (Lipstick Jungle) and one serious one. :(

Got my Amazon book order and I want to read Julie & Julia before the movie comes out!

And I've seen reviews and promo for this Lisa See book and it's just up my alley that if someone like you mentions it, I'm going to go requesting that too! Lesson learned: I make a list of books to request and space them out! Except for Barack Obama's book - there's like 88 people ahead of me so I've queued up already!

You will love Twilight. Do you watch True Blood? The books are pretty good too. I have only read the first 4.

I don't watch True Blood - I'm not all that much into vampire stuff, but the Twilight books are pretty much being read by everyone. Which says to me you don't really have to love vampires to like the series.

Let me know what you think of the new Lisa See. Have you read Snow Flower and the Secret Fan? If not, you must.

I have read Snow Flower and loved it, which is why I want to read more of her stuff.

And, whaddyaknow, The Girl that Played with Fire shows up. Am...reading...furiously....
